Roberts is known for his non-mainstream political positions, including his harsh criticism of the Bush and Obama administrations' "War on Terrror, " the "War on Drugs,  excessive police violence, and increased government abuse of surveillance.  In this short interview with Teresa Kuhn, Roberts' explains his belief that there has been an irreversible loss of freedom in the United States and that he believes things will only get worse.
