Most people don’t understand the extent to which law enforcement and the Border Patrol become humanitarian and first-aid responders to illegal immigrants trying to enter the country, according to Sheriff Mark Lamb of Pinal County. I recently traveled to the U.S. Mexico border, and spoke with Sheriff Lamb, who serves an Arizona county about 60 miles from the border.
