157: Staying Calm in the Midst of Chaos

I had planned a different episode for today, but when I tried to record it just didn’t feel right. I instead wanted to speak to what’s going on with the Coronavirus epidemic. Over the past week so much has shifted and changed in the US. I am sure I am not the only person out there who went from informed yet not worried to informed and started to feel like there is a brick on my chest at all times.    The purpose of  today’s episode is to not educate or tell you anything you don’t already know (distance yourself, wash your hands and let’s listen to the scientists, not quack advice okay?). The purpose of today’s episode is to check in on you and send a compassionate reminder to all of this that it serves each and every one of us to stay calm in the midst of chaos.   Your feelings and emotions are 100% valid and I know many of us, myself included, are starting to feel the anxiety pick up.
