As a candidate, you probably want to be as forthcoming as possible.  One of my gamechangers sent me this note:  How do you suggest I present myself on my resume to gracefully address the time I chose to take off?  I feel it's misleading to send out resumes saying that I'm still currently employed at my former company, even though many people take that approach.
