The need?If you ride horses for fun or competitively, you know that the sooner you can detect a problem in your horse's’ health, the safer it is for you and for the horse. Injuries to horses come from several sources. First the horse might begin to develop “lameness” in one of the legs. If detected early, problems leading to lameness can be helped by proper rest, treatment, and massage. If a horse is developing lameness (or having soreness) in one of it’s legs or hoofs, and you don’t detect it early enough - it can lead to serious problem for the horse.
