We just get out of school and 'fall forward' into an area we think would be pretty cool to work in. Get a family, get a house, get a car, go on holiday and get some form of income to pay for all this stuff. Then if you can get something to pay you more income you can have more stuff and bigger, better versions of it. Simples, right? Then, before we know it, we realise that we've pretty much been blindly following someone else's path. And we're just left wondering... "Why the piss is this not making me happy?" But if you define what success means to YOU, it actually does become a lot simpler. Actually spend some time thinking what it is you WANT out of life and what makes you happy.
