Trying to quieten the mind can be quite a challenge - especially if you are new to meditation. Often if you give your mind something to do while you are trying to quieten it then it makes the process much easier. The meditation in this episode uses an element of visualisation to help give the mind something to focus on. It can be very good for dealing with anxious thoughts or difficult times and can also produce quite a strong feeling of calm in a relatively short time.
