Happy New Year!  On this first episode of 2018, I'm joined by Stan Lake of Catching Creation.  Stan is a Veteran of North Carolina's Army National Guard and a lover of all things that creep, crawl and have scales.  He's the host and one of the creative forces behind the YouTube channel "Catching Creation" which documents his adventures in herpin' - That is to say, exploring the natural world looking for and learning about reptiles, amphibians, spiders and their ilk - and conservation. In this episode, Stan and I discuss at length issues facing conservation and the importance of properly understanding the place critters have in the natural world - and the modern "civilized" world.
