  SUMMARY: When I first got out of the Army in 2005 I was hitting the ground running and nothing was going to stop me. I was very successful in the Army and my plan was to apply those same ideas and principles to my life and career outside the military. What I discovered was a huge shock to my system... What made me successful in the military was not going to make me successful now that I was out.  What I also found was that there was a lot of things I didn't know, and for that matter was never taught. Even more, I didn't know who could, or would teach me all these things I didn't know but desperately needed to!  Over the next several weeks I am going to talk about 11 things that never get taught but you need to know!
