Synopsis

In this "Rev" episode, I talk about resistance; resistance around anything that might be holding you back from being productive or moving the needle forward toward your goals. I've had recent conversations with friends about how to break through the resistance in order to accomplish more and today I'm asking you to think about 3 things when you start to feel overwhelmed or resistant to tackling something on your list: A quick mindset shift: consider what you are pursuing something that you 'get' to do, an opportunity, a privilege, versus something that you 'have' to do, a chore, a burden. Sometimes, this simple mindset shift can give you the energy you need to get started Just start! Easier said than done, I realize. But, this could be applied to a less-than interesting project with a quickly approaching deadline, this could relate to exercise, or even something as simple as preparing lunches for the next day or putting away the dishes. Just start - give yourself some time, 5-10 minutes to see how you feel,
