Can riches save you? The Jews believed if you were rich, you were blessed by God. Our culture believes wealth can save us from pain, difficulty and the angst that we feel in our hearts. Money has always been a lure for the human heart, but when we mistakenly think it is the answer to our felt needs, we can make obtaining riches our end goal and forsake the greatest thing for a lesser thing.
