House Is A Journey

March 2013 Light n’ Easy   Mixed on the fly at 30,000 ft on CX 134 bound for Hong Kong.   As the title alludes, easy listening Deep and Soulful set.   If I think about it, Light n’ Easy is my first real 2013 mix. I had let accumulated 26 hours of recently purchased tunes on my hard drive and the task of sieving through the sheer mass was daunting. With 8 and half hours spare flying to HK, I knew I had a chance to listen, categorize, rate, level all those tunes.. From there it was just a short step to open Traktor and let the set flow wherever the mood and tunes would take me.. Done on the fly, it is patchy but the result has unity and its own flavour. It is Light n’Easy.. Random Soul, Australian talent, is heavily promoted and they fully deserve the focus.
