House Is A Journey

Evolution… It began in Africa. Beware the first 35 minutes are naughty, one could say raunchy.. If you play it at work, it is at your own peril.. This is NOT background music for your sunday lunch if the folks are visiting.. Naughty, Deep n' Sexy  and rhythmic episode. We start in Chicago and Detroit, where House began,  then slowly incorporate rhythmic roots from Africa, where " it all began", to finally fuse it up with Latin and Brazilian influences , all throughout with a distinct naughty undertone. The set is both a challenge and an experiment, hence the title “Evolution… It began in Africa “. A challenge, for I wanted to try rhythms and musical colours I usually shy away from. An experiment, for I tried to build the set without looking at the beatgrid as a "beast" I needed to "tame". In all fairness, with these percussions and syncopated beats, the visual beatgrid is normally useless. Yet, without the comfort of the software finding the beatgrid, I
