Welcome to the tenth episode of 'Cinemafia' – the film-review show where one of us lies. While we’ve missed weeks nearly as frequently as we’ve released on time, we’re back on schedule now with ZERO days without incident! This week: ‘The Godfather’ - an iconic 1972 American mob drama directed by Francis Ford Coppola and written by Mario Puzo. As always, we recommend you watch the film before listening, as we don't go over the plot in detail and much of our discussion may otherwise be meaningless and frustrating (if it isn't already). The premise: we review a film, but one of the hosts (the Mafia) is covertly distorting their opinion, and it's the job of the other hosts (the Villagers) to deduce who the Mafia is and thus vote for their lynching... while at the same time everyone (hopefully) provides engaging critical analysis.
