House Is A Journey

2019 Aug Back in the Building (through the Deep Door)   Deep House, suitable for loungin’, eating, reading. I have been told “Deep House” is boring, my answer is right here, just give the music time to get to you. Do not force it.   I recently was eating in an upmarket restaurant in Rome. Setting was uber-cool as expected, food amazing but the soundscape was just passable. As it is the sort of brand of eateries found in most of the cool cities of the world, they can (should) command the perfect soundscape for dining.   The requirements are a great sound system able to project pure sound at a low volume and a crafter who understands that the sound has to adapt to the crowd volume. Late PM, early evening, we want to hear the sound, during full service, we do not, late service we do but at a low yet discernible volume. Finally, whoever puts it together needs to have a script, an intention and obey one simple rule: low, up, peak, low.   Nothing more irritating than background
