In week 3 of our series through the letter of James we focus on James 1:12-18. In this section James talks about the importance of remaining steadfast in trial in order to receive the crown of life and warns how a trial can become a temptation if we respond incorrectly. He warns us that when we are tempted we must never blame God who gives only good gifts, but recognize that temptation comes from the sinful desires within.
