Today, those levels held. This is the busiest week of earnings reporting season. There are 174 S&P 500 index companies scheduled to report earnings this week. Eleven of the 30 Dow Jones Industrial Average components are on the docket as well. The earnings reporting season is off to a great start, with 87 percent of the S&P 500 companies that have reported, posting reporting better-than-expected profits as compared with the same period in 2017.
