The reason for the selloff? Take your pick: the growing supply of government debt, accelerating inflation, higher oil and commodity prices, trade policy concerns. Also, the Fed is raising its short-term lending rate as the U.S. economy strengthens, after holding it near-zero in the wake of the financial crisis.
