Conversations At The Table

The Table is a church community located in Lemont, IL. We are passionate about sharing the love of Jesus to our community and to the world in very practical ways. The modern American church has become obsessed with basing their "success" on attendance and dollars, instead of remembering that Jesus called the Church to be servants. At The Table, we want people to experience Jesus through biblical knowledge, authentic relationships, and selfless service. Our podcast is aimed at continuing the conversation we have on Sundays at our weekly gathering and during the week at our house churches.   IN THIS EPISODE: To start the 2nd season, Dave and Seth continue their series in Acts. Acts 6-7 tells an amazing story of the Apostle Stephen standing up in front of the religious leaders and using the power of the Holy Spirit to face opposition, even in the face of death.
