"The River" is a 5 week sermon series leading up to Pentecost where we explore the Person and Work of the Holy Spirit through the Biblical image of water. In Week 2 we consider the second half of Ezekiel's vision of the river flowing from the Temple. As the river flows out from the place of God's presence it goes to desolate areas and dead places bringing about the regeneration of life and fruitfulness in extraordinary ways. The implications of this vision are both personal and cosmic as the power of the river is seen in its effect on Creation. "Where the river flows everything will live (v 9b).
