Conversations At The Table

The Table is a church community located in Lemont, IL. We are passionate about sharing the love of Jesus to our community and to the world in very practical ways. The modern American church has become obsessed with basing their "success" on attendance and dollars, instead of remembering that Jesus called the Church to be servants. At The Table, we want people to experience Jesus through biblical knowledge, authentic relationships, and selfless service. Our podcast is aimed at continuing the conversation we have on Sundays at our weekly gathering and during the week at our house churches.   IN THIS EPISODE: Dave and Seth discuss the story of Priscilla and Aquilla in Acts 18. The stories that go on in this chapter alone teach us a great deal on how to put our support behind in help teaching someone who is already spreading good and how to be teachable when we become the student.
