Synopsis

Welcome! This is a view of aviation from both sides of the mic. That means I’m an Air traffic controller, but also a pilot, and I’ve done a lot of other stuff in aviation over the last 25 years, so on this show, we take a look at aviation from as many angles as possible. And lately, there’s an angle that I’m liking more and more. And that’s the view from a single engine turboprop. By the time you’re hearing this, I’ll be getting ready for my first annual recurrent training in the Piper M600 Meridian, and I’m getting into mentoring and instructing in them as well. And don’t worry, this isn’t going to be some self indulgent salvo about how cool they are. Well, ok, maybe we’ll talk A LITTLE about how cool they are, but there’s a bit more to it than that. Quite a bit more actually. But we’re going to be real about it, because there are a few elephants in the room… Goldberg Aviation: https://www.goldbergaviation.com Deal with The Devil article by Mac McClellan: https://airfactsjournal.com/2019/08/pilots-make-a-dea
