This was life. It was as unique as any program could be.These gentlemen you’ve heard from lived it, and they could have just retired. Hung up the flight suit, and sailed off into the history books. But they didn’t. And to think they would have, would be to miss the point that those who were chosen and successful in the SR Program were truly a cut above. And don’t worry, they’re in the history books already. But for an SR crew, that’s not good enough, because even though you could buy a book about the SR anywhere, or check one out at the library, and I recommend you do. These guys are still traveling around, 30 years later, AT THEIR OWN EXPENSE to make sure that their stories don’t expire on their watch. And to do their part to inspire youth, and people of all ages to participate in this amazing thing we call aviation.And that, is how you leave a legacy.I want to thank you personally for being here all week and hearing these stories.
