Women And Drones

This episode features Jennifer Andrews, an engineer on the Bell Technology and Innovation Team.  She shares her career journey into drones as well as her current role leading the NASA SIO project. We discuss Bell's work with Autonomous Pod Transport, specifically the APT 70 and how Jennifer and her team are working toward safe integration into the airspace while flying beyond visual line of sight.   The APT 70 mission will be critical urban medical transport.  Jennifer talks about her decision to study engineering and what her parents did to encourage her as a young girl.  She also has some sound advice for other women working in the drone industry.  bellfight.com
