Andy co-founded LiveWire Sport with other former BBC Sport colleagues in 2011 after they decided against following the organisation to Manchester. He started out the Sunderland Echo, following his dream of being a sports journalist. One he'd had since the age of 10 and was determined to make it his career. He learned a lot about digital and sports journalism through working for BBC Sport over a period of 9 years.
