Think Out Loud

Ramin Tokhi came to the U.S. from Russia in 2013 years ago, at the age of 21, and began taking English classes at the library. Four years later, he was teaching English and cultural skills to other immigrants and refugees and helping native English speakers become better teachers. We talked to Tokhi in 2017 about learning English as an adult and how that set him on his path to study linguistics.
