For this episode, we invited Emma Shelton and her mom Sarah Shelton, the founders of Earings by Emma, a jewellery brand for girls and women based in Oklahoma. It was back in 2017 when Emma first started to make plastic earrings for herself. From there she has made a large collection of stylish earrings she can wear. But it was until then, she also found out that many friends and family also have sensitive ears, so she started making and selling the plastic earrings to them. Then she got chances to sell at a salon, at vendor events or at different stores. She finally launched her website so she is selling to the mass market with non-irritating earrings that’s also very affordable. But how did they make improvements to current earrings for sensitive ears? Why people love their earrings so much that they can sell over 2000 pairs over a weekend?
