Think Out Loud

Union County now has Oregon’s largest single outbreak of COVID-19 to date. The eastern Oregon county is home to the Lighthouse United Pentecostal Church, where 236 cases were identified out of 365 church members who were tested. A now-deleted video of a May 24th church service shows people standing close together indoors, not wearing masks. We talk with Oregon Health Authority director Patrick Allen and Carrie Brogoitti, public health administrator for the Center for Human Development in Union County.
