Arion's life work revolves around helping others feel safe, comfortable, and heard. At the University of Kentucky she strives to provide students with basic needs such as food, money for a deposit so they can have a roof over their heads, and even advice for how to move forward. As this episode was recorded pre-quarantine/social distancing, we do not discuss Covid-19, however I know that so many of us are finding ourselves in unexpected circumstances. From losing income to feeling isolated, we are all learning what it means to need help. Arion's work at UK has always been important, and I feel especially in these trying times, her services are needed.
