We live in a culture that encourages us to live for the weekend, live for ourselves, and put forth the least amount of effort to get by on our job and in our relationships. Unfortunately this attitude has crept into the church, allowing some people to settle for side-line Christianity, where a church service is the only place reserved for God, with no evidence of Him in the rest of their lives.
