Pastor Marc Sharp's message today is about piling up stones...what? By the Edmund Pettus Bridge in Alabama is a simple pile of large granite stones on which is etched the Bible passage for today : “When your children shall ask you in the time to come, saying, What mean these stones? Then you shall tell them how you made it over.” A testimony of hard times and struggle. Testimonies are not free - they are costly, often coming through pain, persecution, trial, or warfare. But even so, God answers prayer, brings deliverance, and rains down mercy all the time. When he does, it’s important for us to pile up stones, so that we can remember and point back to them, praising God for his faithfulness. Do you have piled up stones in your life?
