While it is popular in our modern day to believe that there are many ways to God, the witness of Scripture is clear: God has saved the world through Jesus Christ. There is no way to God other than through Jesus, for He alone is Lord. This is clear in Acts 10. Peter brings the Gospel to Cornelius, a Roman centurion, a Gentile who had learned about God from the Jewish community in his town. But he didn’t know Jesus yet. The Holy Spirit wants Cornelius and his family to know the salvation that Jesus alone can give, so He works in an amazing way to bring Peter and the Gospel of Christ to Cornelius’ home.
