Kirsten Savik better known as La Gringa mas Latina started her radio journey in 2005 as an intern at La Picosa Radio in Minesota where she originally hails from. Her love for Latin culture and music began at a very young age and lead her to spend some time grasping the language and customs. As she grew at La Picaso she got the opportunity to be the GM of the station which lead her to learn everything from sales, music directing, to management. After being with the company for almost 6 years, she transitioned to an all English station in Minnesota 96.3 NOW. Once the station flipped, she decided it was time to expand and grow her career in a bigger market and she made the bold move to Miami. Once here she began working with Miami’s own DJ LAZ at one of the biggest radio station group: Spanish Broadcasting Systems for DJ106.7. She also spent some time at POWER 96 working part time.
