Sarah Akiba is an entrepreneur and philanthropist who was born in Paris, France to immigrant parents. From the early age of 15, she began her career in fashion, which later lead her to styling celebrities like Dascha Polanco, YesJulz, as well as Young Thug and Lil Uzi Vert’s music video “Up”. By 19, she had already created her own clothing brand and had found her niche in entrepreneurship. Unfortunately, shortly after her 21st birthday her life completely changed with the death of her father. In this episode, Sarah shares intimate details about this turning point in her life and how it catapulted her into creating her lifestyle brand and non-profit organization ‘Angel Watching Over Me’.  As an homage to her dad, AWOM serves as a support system for those who have lost a loved one with counseling services lead by on staff therapist.
