How she got here was not a straight path at all and she had several challenges, including two difficult pregnancies that led to a change in working conditions and a potentially career ending injury. Rather than letting these hurdles get in her way, Dr. Catena decided to make the best of it and while she was in the hospital the idea for her product came to her to help protect veterinary professionals and the pets we care for.
