My name is Joy Ruhigisha Gihana, Founder and CEO of Family Life and Beyond. I hold a Bachelors degree in Legal Laws (LLB) and a Masters degree in Counselling Psychology. Over the years, I have supported hundreds of clients in need of family and mental health therapy and also teach in the faculty of Health Sciences at Norquest College here in Edmonton. I am happily married to my best friend Lucky Gihana and have been blessed with 3 beautiful kids. I am proudly Rwandan-Canadian. Born in Uganda, grew up in Rwanda and currently residing in Canada for the last ten years. When I am not working, I like to spend time volunteering in my community and my church.
