In this Fathers Day message, Pastor Marc Sharp concludes the series on the minor prophets with the book of Malachi, the last book of the Old Covenant. The people are walking in unbelief regarding God's promises, and have hardened hearts toward the God of their fathers. Through Malachi, God answers questions the discouraged people ask about him, reminding them of his covenant faithfulness, his worthiness, and his promises. He reminds them they are in the state they are in, not because he has been unfaithful, but because they have been. God wants godly offspring to delight in. The way he achieves this is no longer through the law, but through grace purchased by Jesus on the cross!
