At only seven years old, CATHY BROADWELL took to her mother's collection of self-help books in a attempt to make friends. She's come a long way since then. After graduating from school and college (with a degree in graphic design), she climbed the corporate ladder, and landed the prestigious title of Creative Director at a full service ad agency. She loved her job very much, until one day she didn't. Laser eye surgery to fix her sight left her with a reinvigorated sense of purpose and after ongoing frustrations at work, Cathy took a calculated risk and quit her job.
