In this episode I speak with D. Stephen Long, who is the Cary M. Maguire University Professor of Ethics at Southern Methodist University. He is the author of some of my favorite theology books of the last decade or more, such as Speaking of God: Theology, Language and Truth (Eerdmans, 2009), Saving Karl Barth: Hans Urs von Balthasar’s Preoccupation (Fortress, 2014), and The Perfectly Simple Triune God: Aquinas and His Legacy (Fortress, 2016).
