Roy Dean, is an ambassador for the art of jiu-jitsu, exposes others to this lifelong discipline. Author of "The Martial Apprentice" and "Becoming the Black Belt". His martial education is well rounded, holding first-degree black belts in Kodokan Judo and Aikikai Aikido, and third-degree black belts in Japanese and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. He continues to be a student of Roy Harris and is recognized as a black belt by the International Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation, with affiliated academies around the world.
