As we launch into chapter 12 of Matthews gospel this morning we find the growing resistance among the Pharisees to the teachings of this new Rabbi. We find Jesus and His disciples walking through the grain fields on the Sabbath day. I want you to think with me about how unusual this would be for a group of Jews to be traveling on the Sabbath.
