Our Guests are Kristi and Sam McElwee. They are a young couple who are known for being worshipers! Kristi is a radio personality at FM 90.3 WJTL and Adjunct Professor of Radio Broadcasting at Lancaster Bible College. Sam is a Regional Manager for RMS Intermodal. At this point of their lives they are parenting their young son and enjoying this part of their journey. However, only three weeks after their marriage vows they found themselves having to take a stand against Sam’s unexpected cancer diagnosis. They tackled this together but after Sam received the all clear sign, they found themselves just two years later taking another stand against Kristi’s cancer diagnosis. Any unexpected medical diagnosis can sometimes put your mental health in jeopardy when normal feelings of depression and or anxiety occur. There are ways to combat those feelings.
