Jesse Pearlstein graduated from James Madison University in 2006 with a degree in psychology. He spent the next several years as an AmeriCorps volunteer in California and subsequently a Peace Corps Volunteer in the Dominican Republic. Jesse began working as a counselor in 2010 serving at risk youth and their families and graduated with his master's in social work in 2013. He has worked in schools, residential programs, community based settings providing counseling and mental health services to children, youth and adults. Jesse works with both children and adults presenting with a wide range of issues ranging from ADHD, Depression, and Trauma, among others. He utilizes a client centered approach to assist people with cultivating their personal strengths to aid them in their healing process. In his spare time he enjoys being physically active and likes to perform as an amateur stand-up comedian.
