Informações:

Synopsis

Show Notes: Last month, the SCOTUS refused to hear the appeal of Moath al-Alwi, who has been detained without charge in Guantanamo Bay for over 17 years. I interview Murtaza Hussain of The Intercept about al-Alwi. We discuss Justice Breyer’s statement on the court’s refusal to hear the case, and why Breyer thinks the Court should potentially hear the next such appeal. We discuss the constitutional authority of Congress and the President, and how this case affects all Americans.
