Nicky’s album this week is Super 90 by Kadinja, This band from Paris, France has touches of VOLA, Twelve Foot Ninja, Plini, and Polyphia. They keep just enough of the metalcore roots to feel legitimately hard while washing it over in modern guitar prog. I’m not usually into the metal vocal this much but it’s surrounded by so much dissonant musicality and sing-along hooks it’s hard to look past it.
