A. Hayek. After reading “The Road to Serfdom” by F. A. Hayek, I stumbled upon a lecture title “Why Libertarianism is Wrong” sponsored by the local Democratic Socialists. The lecture was presented by a socialist professor of economics as a rebuttal to the very book I had just finished reading. Includes a discussion of positive and negative rights, differences between corporate power and government power, and what happens when the government tries to exert control over any portion of the free market.
