Have you ever noticed how many Christmas movies, especially the kids ones, have something or someone trying to stop Christmas from coming? Of course there’s the Grinch, Scrooge, the Abominable Snowman, or the more nuanced materialism that threatens Charlie Brown’s Christmas. Christmas is God sending unspeakable goodness to us. Since even before the very first real Christmas, dark forces have threatened to try to prevent the Goodness from arriving. But God’s Goodness, like Christmas itself, is UNSTOPPABLE!
