Episode 099 - Special Guest | Life Long Islander Danielle Bogardus, Founder and Visionary of Connect3. She talks about her work with Samantha Zwicker at the UDUB, her trips to Peru and how that led all the way to Africa. We also got to talk to her about growing up on Bainbridge and going through the Bainbridge Island School District. How at a young age, her amazing teacher Alice Mendoza created the spark with her connection to Ometepe, Nicaragua. As if Bogardus wasn't busy enough, she and her climbing group will ascend Mount Rainier between July 21-26. They do this as a part of the Climb for Hope with Danielle climbing for her special friend, Barb McAllister. Danielle is climbing in support of breast cancer and multiple sclerosis research.
