This week Joe is joined by Katie Hanna, retired Army officer and Veterans Service Representative for NEADS World Class Service Dogs. Katie served on both Active Duty and as a Reservist in the Army Medical Service Corps. Katie shared her unique transition story and how she overcame challenges throughout her military and civilian careers. Katie continues to serve, connecting Veterans with service dogs trained by NEADS. She explains the mission of NEADS, who provides highly trained service dogs at no-cost to Veterans. She completed her Army career as a Lieutenant Colonel and Operations Officer with the US Army Surgeon General, Reserve Affairs Directorate. Katie has a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Arts in Management and Leadership. She is the point person for veteran clients
