Preached by Pastor Dave Furman on Easter Sunday 2022, we see in John 12:37–50 that although Jesus performed countless miracles in the sight of multitudes, many still did not recognize him for who he truly is — the Messiah, come to save his people. Jesus responds that he is “The Sent One,” prophesied by Isaiah and sent by the Father to make him known and to give life to those who follow him.
